Tang stressed that hydrogen energy is an important way to reduce carbon emissions and energy dependence. According to the forecast analysis, China's demand for hydrogen energy in 2030 and 2050 will be close to 35 million tons and 60 million tons respectively. Through the development and utilization of hydrogen energy, 700 million tons of CO2 can be reduced.
