On May 12, 2021, Seminar on Transportation energy Transformation Industry was held by Sinopec Group in Beijing. Chen Xuesong, president of FTXT, delivered a keynote speech. He shared FTXT's exploration and development in transportation energy transformation.

Chen xuesong mentioned that the basic support for clean and low-carbon transportation energy is renewable power. With the further innovation and development of ultra-high voltage, smart grid, clean energy, new energy storage and other technologies, the proportion of renewable energy consumption will continue to increase. Electrochemical energy storage has played a role in a number of renewable energy power generation demonstration projects. Hydrogen energy will play an important role in the long-term, large-scale, low-cost energy storage.
