The 47th Bangkok International Motor Show recently kicked off in Nonthaburi, Thailand.
As the core carrier of GWM's hydrogen energy strategy, GWM HYDROGEN-FTXT made its debut at the exhibition, showcasing its cutting-edge technological achievements in the hydrogen fuel cell sector. This marks the official start of the company's strategic expansion into the Thai and broader Southeast Asian markets.

This participation is a key step in GWM HYDROGEN-FTXT's implementation of the "Ecosystem Going Global" strategy of its parent company, GWM. Adhering to the philosophy that "globalization is not merely about exporting products, but the comprehensive output of technology, brand, manufacturing, supply chain, and cultural value," the company leverages GWM's industrial base in Thailand to accelerate the localization and industrial synergy of hydrogen energy technologies.
At the exhibition, GWM HYDROGEN-FTXT prominently displayed its self-developed 120 kW high-performance hydrogen fuel cell engine and related core components, attracting significant attention from industry professionals and supply chain partners.
The 120 kW hydrogen fuel cell engine features a modular integrated design, offering advantages such as high power density, long service life, and high reliability. It is widely applicable to medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles, urban logistics vans, sanitation vehicles, and other scenarios. Its excellent environmental adaptability enables stable operation under the hot and humid conditions typical of Thailand and Southeast Asia.

As a leading Chinese enterprise in the hydrogen and fuel cell sectors, GWM HYDROGEN-FTXT has accumulated extensive application experience in global markets. Its products have already successfully entered overseas markets including Brazil, and its demonstration projects such as hydrogen-powered heavy trucks and hydrogen vessels have received high recognition from end customers.
Looking ahead, GWM HYDROGEN-FTXT will continue to be driven by technological innovation, uphold an open and cooperative approach, deepen global synergies, actively participate in the development of the hydrogen energy industry chain in Thailand and Southeast Asia, promote China's advanced hydrogen energy technologies to the world, and contribute a Chinese solution to the global energy transition and low-carbon development.
