On March 15th, a delegation comprising key figures such as Cosimo Del Vecchio, CEO of PLD ARTECH, Alessandro Saponaro, CEO of Centro Combustione Ambiente's Automotive Power Comprehensive Monitoring Laboratory, Vincenzo Dagostino, Technical Director of Avantgarde specializing in heavy-duty trucks and rail locomotives, and Dr. Marco Terressi, a professor at the Mechanical and Materials Research Institute of Politecnico Di Bari, visited GWM-FTXT. They were warmly received by FTXT's Overseas Business Director, Li Guoning, and Assistant to the Chairman, Wu Jiawei. Engaging within the established cooperation framework, discussions were held on key technologies in the hydrogen energy field, hydrogen product development, applications, as well as bilateral cooperation in financing.
During the visit, Cosimo Del Vecchio and his team toured FTXT's hydrogen energy exhibition hall, fuel cell and membrane electrode production lines, research and development laboratories, as well as a range of hydrogen-powered vehicles such as hydrogen buses, heavy-duty trucks, and liquid hydrogen trucks provided by FTXT. They gained a comprehensive understanding of FTXT's innovations in key technologies, hydrogen equipment manufacturing, demonstrations of hydrogen applications, and industrial chain layout, all of which were highly praised and acknowledged.
In the discussion session, both parties engaged in exchanges and discussions on technical products and service solutions related to hydrogen energy ecosystem development, manufacturing of hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks and rail locomotives, hydrogen equipment testing, and more. They reached a consensus on further collaboration in product and technology integration, implementing multilateral cooperation projects, and sharing a common vision to support the development of the European hydrogen energy ecosystem in the long term.
Several experts unanimously expressed that with the increasing global awareness of sustainable development and environmental protection, the development of hydrogen energy has become a global consensus. China has shown strong determination in this area, and there are expectations for collaboration between FTXT and Italian partners to jointly explore international cooperation scenarios in the hydrogen energy sector between Italy and China.
Li Guoning, FTXT's Overseas Business Director, extended a warm welcome to Cosimo Del Vecchio and his delegation. He emphasized that FTXT, with an international perspective, is actively expanding into international markets. The company will continue to strengthen key technological breakthroughs in hydrogen energy and lead demonstrations in hydrogen energy applications, providing global customers with more cost-effective hydrogen products and solutions. He expressed hope for collaboration with Italian partners in the hydrogen energy industry chain to contribute together to global energy transformation and low-carbon green development.
