On September 9th, GWM Hydrogen FTXT and ITAIPU PARQUETEC officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), commencing in-depth cooperation in the hydrogen energy field. The two parties will collaborate under a multidimensional "technology + application scenarios + talent" model, focusing on five key areas including joint R&D of hydrogen technologies adapted to the Brazilian market, localized infrastructure deployment, and the establishment of a shared laboratory to promote the hydrogen energy industry in Brazil and Latin America, thereby supporting the global transition to sustainable transportation.
This partnership with ITAIPU PARQUETEC marks a crucial step for GWM Hydrogen FTXT in expanding into the Latin American market. It also represents a key practice in integrating the "going global" of China's hydrogen energy technologies with local needs in Brazil. By doing so, the collaboration opens up a new avenue for Sino-Brazilian cooperation in the new energy sector, and jointly supports the global realization of the "dual carbon" goals.
