On September 24, a fleet of 500 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, equipped with hydrogen fuel cell systems provided by GWM HYDROGEN FTXT, was officially put into operation in Baoding, China.
This deployment includes 200 hydrogen fuel cell light trucks (refrigerated and insulated vehicles) designated for "cold chain logistics," specifically for campus food distribution and transport. The remaining 300 are hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty trucks, which will be used for coal logistics transportation.
To date, the total number of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles operating in China that are equipped with systems supplied by GWM HYDROGEN FTXT has surpassed 1,000.
Looking ahead, GWM HYDROGEN FTXT will continue to deepen its focus on the technological iteration of core hydrogen and fuel cell technologies. The company will prioritize expanding the scenario-based application of hydrogen energy within the transportation sector, promote the adoption of hydrogen-powered vehicles both in China and globally, and explore new applications such as drones and two-wheelers. It also aims to extend into sectors like construction, energy, and industry, striving to build a comprehensive hydrogen industry application ecosystem that covers multiple scenarios and integrates the entire value chain, thereby contributing to the global energy transition.
