COP30 was held from November 10-21 in Belém, Brazil. During the conference, Brazil's first hydrogen-powered research vessel, the "Explorer H1", made its official debut. Jointly developed by GWM HYDROGEN FTXT, ECO MARINE, and Brazilian partners JAQ, NAUTICA, and ITAIPU PARQUETEC, the ship was open to the public at the port.
Throughout the event, all its systems—from lighting and air conditioning to kitchen and entertainment facilities—were powered by hydrogen, achieving zero carbon emissions. It will now enter a fuel testing phase.

Brazilian officials and international climate representatives boarded the vessel, praising the application of Chinese hydrogen technology in Brazil and its contribution to global climate governance.
A core power source, the "Marine Mobile Hydrogen Power Generation Module", features an integrated hydrogen fuel cell solution from GWM HYDROGEN FTXT. The company independently developed and manufactured the key fuel cell and hydrogen storage systems, providing comprehensive support and stable power.

In the future, the vessel will support research teams along the Amazon River, using zero-emission power for climate expeditions and contributing the green strength of "Intelligent Manufacturing in China" to global climate research.
During COP30, GWM HYDROGEN FTXT and Brazilian firms like NAUTICA planned further cooperation to expand hydrogen technology into inland waterway transport, broadening its application in South America and establishing the "Chinese Hydrogen, Intelligent Manufacturing in China" brand globally.
